Discover Mount Stuart house, the Victorian neo-Gothic mansion home turned extraordinary visitor attraction.

From the regal interiors to the 300 acre gardens, there is so much so see and do at Mount Stuart. The famous night sky ceiling in the Marble Hall is an exquisite site to behold.

Mount Stuart was rebuilt in 1877 after fire damage for the Stuart family, Marquesses of Bute and Robert the Bruce's descendants. The house has what is believed to be the first ever home heated swimming pool and features some of the earliest examples of Victorian inventions including the telephone and the lift. Plus, a genuine Shakespeare First Folio along with a series of world-renowned paintings are on display here.

With a lively event programme running all year round, Mount Stuart makes for a brilliant day out.
