Fire at Central Station

Due to a fire at Central Station. All Service 17 buses will turn right onto St.Vincent Street and terminating on Hope Street

X19 vehicles

West Coast Motors are operating Stagecoach buses on the X19. If Stagecoach vehicles are unavailable, West Coast Motors vehicles may be used on some journeys.
All journeys can still be tracked using the West Coast Motors app or website. For all X19 info:

Ticket Validity

6th May 2026 onwards

Please note that West Coast Motors app tickets are not valid on service X19.

Tickets for Stagecoach services come under their own group, named "Stagecoach Glasgow".

City Centre Diversions

7th May 2026 onwards

Due to the fire at Central Station and the closure of Cathedral St, the following diversions will be in operation.

X19 to QEUH

From St James Rd, St Mungo Avenue, Dobbie's Loan, North Hanover St, Cathedral Bridge, Bath St, Newton St, Anderston Quay, normal route.

X19 to Easterhouse

From West George St, West Nile St, Cathedral Bridge, North Hanover St, Dobbie's Loan, St Mungo Avenue, St James Rd, normal route.

Services diverted

Today 17:33 - 23:59

Due to emergency roadworks at the junction of Market Street and Combie Street the bus stop at Tesco opposite Halfords will be out of use from 7 PM this evening (Tuesday) until the end of service as the buses will not be able to make the turn at the junction.
Customers can use the bus stop at the station or wait at the bridge on Soroba lane.

Argyll Rally

26th May 2026 - 19th Jun 2026

Due to the Argyll Rally the will be disruptions to ALL services with Cowal on the weekend of the 19th June 2026.

Friday 19th

13th - 20th Jun 2026

Due to the Argyll Rally, the service is unable to access Dunoon ferry terminal or Argyll St after 5pm on Friday 19th only.
The last Toward buses from the ferry will be the 4.37pm and to Ardentinny will be the 3.30pm.
Buses after this time will divert along Victoria Rd, with temporary stops @ it's junctions with, Mary St, John St and Jessie place.

Saturday 20th

13th - 21st Jun 2026

With the Rally stage @ Ardentinny all day Saturday, the ony service to Ardentinny will be the 07.20am from Dunoon, with the only service from Ardentinny being @8am.
All other services will terminate @ Blairmore Crescent.
The Toward services should not be effected.

Friday 19th

13th - 19th Jun 2026

Due to the Argyll Rally, we are unable to use Dunoon ferry terminal or Argyll St after 5pm.
The bus due to arrive @ 5.49pm, will terminate @ Morrisons.
The 5.40pm departure will start @ the cinema.
The 7.25pm return from Portavadie is having to divert via Strachur, so will be delayed on it's arrival.
