Pulpit Hill - thought to be named as such due to the square sectioned 'Ministers Stone' found at the top of the hill believed to be used for ministers to stand on whilst addressing the congregations, many years ago. This place is one of the "must visit" viewpoints in Oban - Situated 239 ft above the south side of the bay, there are excellent views of the town and beyond the island of Kerrera. Walkers can follow the signposted footpath from the bottom at Haggarts Brae up to the Pulpits Viewpoint at the top.
