Temp Stop Highburgh Road at Byres Rd to City

9th - 29th May 2025

Due to building work being carried out the bus stop at Highburgh Road at Byres Road to City Centre there is a Temp Bus Stop at no 18 Highburgh Road and the flag is mounted on the lamp post as is the time table thses works are expected to last 24 weeks.

To help with gaps connection services early in the morning there will be additional journeys added. Times below (Monday-Friday only)

Grampian way (opposite shops) – Canniesburn departure: 05:50, 06:30, 07:10
Canniesburn- Grampian way departure: 06:10, 06:50, 07:30

Bearsden academy (school kids only) one way from school to Canniesburn

Diversion on the 17

18th May 2025 - 1st Jun 2025

Due to the full closure of A810 Duntocher Road from 18 May to 01 June, Service 17 (City Centre to Duntocher via Maryhill & Bearsden) will be diverted.
Please note the following changes:

Service suspension: No service 17 between Faifley Terminus and Canniesburn Road.

After Faifley terminus the 17 will divert via A82 - Drumchapel - Canniesburn Road - Canniesburn Toll and proceed as normal to the city.
Return route: Noram service to Canniesburn toll - via Canniesburn Road, Drumchapel, A82, & Great Western Road - Faifley - Duntocher.

Service 15 (Milngavie to City Centre) will run its regular route and can be used as an alternative.
Passengers from Bearsden can transfer between Service 15 and 17 at Canniesburn Toll.
Early morning and late evening delays are expected for Service 17 journeys to Bearsden.

Stop Open

17th May 2025 onwards

THE BUS STOP ON SERVICE 17 AT WATT BROS IS NOW BACK IN SERVICE AND THE TEMP STOP ACROSS FROM THE OPERA HOUSE IS NOT IN USE SERVICE 17 WILL NOT BE STOPPING THERE.
WATT BROS STOP BACK IN USE.

Napiershall rd is closed the 17 on diversion.

19th May 2025 onwards

Due to closure the 17 cannot service Napiershall, Great western rd or west Graham st. The 17 is forced to go via st Georges rd into Garscube into the city, and the same route out of the city.
